Sam froze. It made sense. It explained the struggle she felt inside—why Nieander’s influence was so overwhelming, why she had a natural gravitational pull toward him, and the reason she felt so easily swayed to leave Evrik. A shiver ran through her at the realization...she had evil blood.
Oooh! That's enough to get me to buy the book! Very exciting!
